Luxury Cut Glass Series from Toyo-Sasaki Glass

Cut glass is said to have come across from Europe to Japan in early 19th century, when local craftsmen became fascinated by its technique and unique design. It became a part of Japanese culture, called Kiriko: Kiri means “cut” and Ko meaning “powder” expressing the glass shaving from craftsmen using the abrasive wheel. Glass Bottle Promotes Recycling and Public Water

Glass Bottle Promotes Recycling and Public Water

Of the 100,000 bottles in recycled green glass, made by CoReVe for the "Acqua di Roma" campaign organized with the Municipality of Rome, to date, over 60,000 have been delivered. with the aim of raising awareness among citizens on the issues of environmental sustainability and the importance of individual behaviour.

The bottle is a symbol of how the correct separate collection of waste, starting with glass, allows their recovery and recycling, limiting the consumption of raw materials and energy with consequent reductions in CO2 emissions. Glass can be recycled, 100% and infinite times; separate waste collection avoids waste and saves valuable raw materials; and drinking public water is good for the environment and beyond.
