Glass Bottle Promotes Recycling and Public Water

Glass Bottle Promotes Recycling and Public Water

Of the 100,000 bottles in recycled green glass, made by CoReVe for the "Acqua di Roma" campaign organized with the Municipality of Rome, to date, over 60,000 have been delivered. with the aim of raising awareness among citizens on the issues of environmental sustainability and the importance of individual behaviour.

The bottle is a symbol of how the correct separate collection of waste, starting with glass, allows their recovery and recycling, limiting the consumption of raw materials and energy with consequent reductions in CO2 emissions. Glass can be recycled, 100% and infinite times; separate waste collection avoids waste and saves valuable raw materials; and drinking public water is good for the environment and beyond.

CoReVe is the National Consortium for the collection, recycling and recovery of glass packaging waste produced in Italy. The Consortium, which operates within the CONAI system (National Packaging Consortium), is non-profit and was established by the main Italian glass groups in 1997.
