"Bottiglia Masi" Designed by Piero Lissoni

The Masi Bottle is a result of collaboration between Piero Lissoni, architect, designer and art director and glassmaker Verallia. The innovative project is based on a production ethic in the name of sustainability, creating a light bottle to generate a "virtuous circle": reducing the amount of glass means reducing the raw material needed for production and decreasing the amount of energy needed during processing, transport and handling. The Masi Bottle, specifically, has a weight 33% lower than the average of wine bottles of similar positioning.

The search for lightness was accompanied by aesthetics and design, pursuing maximum efficiency and quality, to obtain a thin, elegant and at the same time robust bottle.
