Thomas Armstrong Group are soon ready to start installation of the production equipment at their new foam glass gravel plant in Great Heck, North Yorkshire. This production facility will be the first of its kind in UK.

It will use recycled glass as raw material and will have a yearly production capacity of more than 240,000m3. The major proportion of the foam glass gravel will be used in own production of lightweight aggregate concrete blocks for the construction industry.

Schaumglas Global Consulting is supplying four foam glass gravel production lines including two batch plants within a few weeks’ time.
