NSG Group Recognized as CDP Supplier Engagement Leader
NSG Group is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a Supplier Engagement Leader, the highest rating in the Supplier Engagement Assessment by CDP, an international non-governmental organization that works to disclose information on environmental impacts, for the second consecutive year.
The CDP Supplier Engagement Rating (SER) is an indicator that assesses a company's supply chain commitment to climate change issues and promotes collaboration among companies in the supply chain. The companies' efforts are scored based on their responses to questions in the four areas of CDP's Climate Change Questionnaire (Governance, Targets, Value Chain (scope 3) and Value Chain Engagement) and their assessment of the Climate Change Questionnaire as a whole. 653 companies around the world were selected for the supplier engagement leader in this year's survey, including 131 companies in Japan.
NSG Group has previously established a Supplier Code of Conduct and works with suppliers to achieve the targets they have set. NSG's efforts have been recognized in this award and are committed to working with suppliers to reduce environmental impacts.
CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states, and regions to manage their environmental impacts on climate change, water security, and deforestation. Currently, CDP is entrusted with disclosure requests from more than 590 institutions worldwide, with total assets under management of more than US$110 trillion.
