More than 15 leaders from across the country visited the Cristalerías Chile Padre Hurtado plant to learn about the production process and its glass recycling plant. The President of the Asociación de Recicladores [National Association of Waste Pickers] Soledad Mella, said: "Cristalerías Chile has always been close to waste recovery firms, facilitating their facilities, offering support in training and certification of skills and now, in the search for an agreement that supports us in the just transition of recycling."

Cristalerías Deputy Manager of Sustainability Claudia López, emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen the network that has been built together with international charity Coaniquem, recyclers, logistics operators, customers and local managers to bring glass from all over Chile. "By 2023 we have already met the valuation goal. That is why we are focused on going further and thanks to this work plan that we start today we will be able to continue recovering glass beyond the law and be present thanks to the management of recyclers in more communes throughout the country "
