AGC Exhibits SunEwat At The COP28 Japan Pavilion

AGC SunEwat installation at AGC Technovation Center, Gosselies, Belgium.

AGC is exhibiting SunEwat (sold in Japan as Sunjoule), a building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV), in the Japan Pavilion, organised by the Ministry of Environment at the 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP28). The event is held at the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, between November 30 and December 12.

The Japan Pavilion in the venue will exhibit technologies and initiatives that support global decarbonization and Japan’s realization of carbon neutrality by 2050. SunEwat can efficiently generate electricity using the exterior walls of a building, and by freely arranging the solar panels, it can add a high level of design to a building.

AGC aims to achieve sustainability management by providing a variety of products that maintain the global environment and support society, thereby achieving both economic and social value without contradictions. Furthermore, one of the long-term social issues that AGC recognizes is the need to address the issue of climate change. By utilizing environmentally friendly products and technologies, AGC will contribute to the carbon neutrality of society as a whole.
