With the theme ‘Glass industry: One vision in the Asean Economic Community’ and with Glass Worldwide as its exclusive official journal, the ASEAN Federation of Glass Manufacturers (AFGM) has announced that the 39th ASEAN Glass Conference will take place in Shangri-la’s Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu in the Philippines.
With Glass Worldwide as exclusive official journal, the annual ASEAN Glass Conference was successfully staged in the Philippines by the Glass Manufacturers’ Association of the Philippines (GMAPI) this October.
Last January, Pavin Bhirombhakdi took over as President of Bangkok Glass, succeeding this year’s Phoenix Award winner, Surasak Decharin. As the following exclusive interview explains, the two have worked together as part of an effective management team for almost two decades to create one of South East Asia’s leading glassmaking groups.
